Events & Promotion
The staff at Total Sports has been involved in many aspects of event management and promotion. From developing the concept of the ONE to ONE 150 meter race between Michael Johnson and Donovan Bailey, the richest payday in track and field history; to serving as the athlete coordinator for the Ponce Grand Prix outdoor meet in Ponce, Puerto Rico, and the meet director for a major national championship. In addition, our staff has assisted with national road race championships and served as the elite coordinator for other major grand prix meets.
Financial Planning & Accounting
We offer our clients direction on how to handle these two very important aspects of their career by directing them to reputable certified financial planners and CPA’s.
Immigration
Total Sports has outstanding relationships with several reputable attorney’s worldwide who specialize in this area. Our staff has assisted clients in obtaining P-1 visas, green cards, and many other visa requirements necessary for competition around the globe.
Marketing
The staff at Total Sports has strong credibility with each and every shoe and apparel company in the industry. In addition, we’ve negotiated agreements with companies outside the baseball and athletics arenas. For example: Coke, Powerade, Power Bar, Tylenol, Yeti, Maurten, Ray Ban, Polar and Oakley. We’ve also negotiated agreements for our clients to represent several different countries as they pursue Olympic bids.
Media
Our staff has landed clients in a vast array of print and digital media from the New York Times, FloSports, Outside Online and Sports Illustrated to television appearances on the Today Show, CNN, Ellen and the Tonight Show. We spend time educating our clients on how to handle the media in both good and bad situations, as well as what to say and when to say it.
Post-Career Counseling
We know how important it is for professional athletes to be prepared when their career comes to an end. There are many different aspects to consider during this transition and our staff will be there to assist our clients when this important step takes place.
Travel
The Total Sports staff works with a highly reputable and experienced travel agent to coordinate our clients travel needs, whether it’s domestic or international travel, hotel accommodation, rental car, etc.
MLB Draft Preparation
The Total Sports staff has extensive experience on both the player and club side preparing for the MLB Draft. Our connections with scouts and front offices from all 30 MLB teams ensure that players and their families are fully prepared and informed once draft day arrives.
