Cameron Sisneros was back home in Colorado watching the Major League Baseball Draft when his name was finally shown on the television screen.
The recent East Tennessee State graduate was selected in the 14th round with the 422nd pick by the Chicago Cubs. For the 2024 Southern Conference Player of the Year, it was a weight lifted off his shoulders after what seemed like an endless wait.
