From March 21 to 23, the city of Nanjing, China, hosted the Indoor World Championships, where our Total Sports athletes showcased their talents on an international stage. Located in the eastern part of the country, Nanjing provided an exciting backdrop for this prestigious event.
Our athletes delivered outstanding performances, bringing home a notable selection of medals. Neil Gourley of Great Britain led the Total Sports roster in China, earning a Silver Medal in the men’s 1500 meters. Jacory Patterson from the United States secured a Bronze Medal in the men’s 400 meters while also playing a crucial role in the team’s Gold Medal performance in the 4×4 relay. Additionally, Jessica Hull of Australia earned the Bronze Medal in the women’s 3000 meters.
Several other athletes also achieved impressive top 10 finishes. Sam Gilman from the United States finished 4th in the 3000 meters, while Zoe Hobbs of New Zealand placed 6th in the women’s 60 meter race. Sam Prakel rounded out the group with a 9th place finish in the men’s 1500 meter.
As we celebrate these accomplishments, we look forward to supporting our Total Sports athletes as they prepare for the upcoming World Outdoor Track & Field Championships, scheduled for September 13-21, 2025 in Tokyo, Japan.
