MANCHESTER – The first year Weini Kelati came to the Manchester Road Race, she not only won, she smashed the course record and as runner-up Keira D’Amato put it that day, she “crushed a lot of dudes.”
Kelati, 27, of Flagstaff, Arizona, is still crushing a lot of dudes. She finished 21st overall Thursday at the 88th annual Thanksgiving Day classic, winning her fourth straight women’s title. She ran the 4.737-mile course in 23 minutes, 14 seconds, slightly off her course record of 22:55 she set in 2021.
