Georgetown’s Melissa Jefferson added a gold medal to the bronze she already had won at the Olympic Games in Paris.
Jefferson, from Carver’s Bay High School and an NCAA champion at Coastal Carolina, ran the opening leg on Team USA’s women’s 4×100-meter relay team on Friday at Stade de France in Paris.
